Description :

  1. To manage a portfolio of clients within designated market segments and to seek business for the Hotel. 
  2. To establish a network of contacts with sales colleagues for business opportunities.
  3. To put into motion all sales leads.
  4. To be fully conversant with all Hotel products. 
  5. To keep in close touch with market and advises the Director of Sales regarding competitive pricing, promotions, products, etc.
  6. To organise familiarisations of hotels and their facilities with clients and prospects.
  7. To be involved in all sales related activities like participation in sales roadshow/blitzes and attendance in trade functions, trade shows and promotions as directed.
  8. To implement programs to win continued customer’s loyalty.
  9. To prepare sales reports to the Director of Sales at their directions.
  10. To be responsible for the business opportunities within the defined sales territory in order to meet the sales targets set. 

Requirements :

  1. Diploma or Degree in tourism, business studies or hospitality management. Excellent sales track records in room sales can substitute lack of academic qualifications.
  2. Minimum 2 - 3 years of rooms sales experience in a hospitality set-up.
  3. High degree of interpersonal skills and ability to interact at a high level with excellent communication skills
