SENIOR SALES MANAGER

Description:

1. To implement all aspects of Sales Net system encompassing all sales related activities such as planning, monitoring and measuring all customers within the defined territory.
2. To be fully conversant with all products within the group. Manages a portfolio of clients within a designated market segments and to seek business for all hotels. Establishes a network of contacts with sales colleagues in Singapore for business opportunities.  Keeps in close touch with market and advises Director of Sales regarding competitive pricing, promotion, products, etc.
3. To be involved in all sales related activities like participation in sales road show/blitzes and attendance in trade function, trade shows and promotions as directed.  Puts into motion all sales leads. Organizes familiarization of hotels and their facilities with clients and potential ones.  
4. Implements programmes to win continued customer’s loyalty. 
5. To be responsible for the business opportunities within the defined sales territory in order to meet the sales targets set.
6. To prepare sales reports to the Director of Sales at their directions.
7. To assist the Director of Sales in preparing the annual sales budget for management approval and implementing the sales budget when it is approved.  

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in tourism, business studies or hospitality management. Excellent sales track records in room sales can substitute lack of academic qualifications.
2. Minimum 5 years of rooms sales experience, which will include at least 1-2 years of room sales management experience in a hospitality set up.
3. Excellent market information of competitive hotels’ strengths and weaknesses in market segmentations, pricing, etc.
4. High degree of interpersonal skills and ability to interact at a high level with excellent communication skills
